Partner and President, ISG South Europe, Middle East & Africa
Mr. Roüast is Partner and President, ISG South Europe, Middle East & Africa. Lyonel was previously President of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Compass Management Consulting. He joined Compass Management Consulting France in 1999 and is responsible for managing the fast-growing European presence of the company. Previously, he held the posts of Managing Director Compass South Europe and Director of Europe. Prior to joining Compass, Lyonel spent much of his career with IBM France where he was a Sales Manager specializing in the banking sector. In 1995, he was appointed Sales Director for the banking sector of CGI and then for the banking department with IBM Global Services. Lyonel is an engineering graduate from the ESIEA and has a post graduate degree from IAE Paris.
Mr. Loeer is a proven leader in IT operation and management and in IT outsourcing. He has demonstrated expertise in assessment, strategy development and sourcing transactions. Friedrich's clients benefit from his 35 years of IT industry tenure, his practical experience in IT thereof more than 18 years in sourcing. Friedrich also offers clients his expertise in the financial services industry, manufacturing and automotive.
Bill has a diverse background in a variety of industries with more than 15 years of IT strategy and service delivery consulting. He is the lead and most experienced practitioner of the ISG Request for Solution (RFS) methodology. In one RFS engagement, the client was so delighted about being able to achieve its financial and transformational objectives, it agreed to jointly present a case study at a global sourcing conference. As a result, the RFS methodology won an International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) provider innovation award. Bill has a BS in business management and a master’s in telecommunications.
Owen has built a decorated career, serving clients across multiple industries with a special focus on enterprises in the financial services sector. Advising clients on IT strategy and the digital agenda, Owen leads high-performance advisory teams to design and implement major transformation programs, structure complex transactions, negotiate with service providers and advise on a broad range of market trends and sourcing activities. Most recently, Owen worked with a large European bank to develop a new workforce strategy that optimizes internal resources and unlocks significant savings. While at a major UK-based retail bank, he led a large advisory team to define and implement an IT sourcing strategy that led to associated savings of more than £250 million. Owen holds a BSc in economics, is a chartered accountant fellow with PwC and has been widely published in his capacity as a recognized thought leader in his field.
With more than 20 years of experience in IT, including research and development, management consulting and outsourcing sales, Thomas understands the whole sourcing lifecycle from both the enterprise buyer’s and provider’s perspective. His clients benefit from his know-how in dealing with technical, financial and strategic issues. A German national who is fluent in English, Thomas holds a diploma in computer science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Prior to ISG, he worked for Fraunhofer, McKinsey, Accenture and IBM. Thomas wrote his PhD thesis on enterprise application integration.
Peter brings clients more than 30 years of internal and external services and sourcing expertise. He is a seasoned professional across a broad set of disciplines and has extensive hands-on experience planning, leading and communicating change in a global setting. For a major Asia Pacific bank, Peter facilitated a vendor engagement that identified the capability to support an organization-wide transformation program and developed an RFI and implementation roadmap for an initial set of technology services. He conducted independent value-for-money assessments for the Australian government that included strategic advice and recommendations to maximize outcomes of a major transformation program. Peter also planned and led significant contract negotiations for an Australian federal government department to create an applications services panel with five global service providers. Peter holds a Graduate Diploma of Management and an MBA.
Christian brings clients a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from more than 15 years as an IT a management consultant and product, service and team manager. His expertise encompasses portfolio management, IT sourcing strategy, IT infrastructure outsourcing, service design and product management, transition management and IT service and cost controlling, P&L responsibility and benchmarking. Christian has served several large transactions in different roles as a member of the customer team. Before he joined ISG, Christian worked for one of the largest global insurance companies in Germany during which time he was responsible for IT service portfolios. While leading the product management unit, he designed the customer service offering and developed and executed sourcing strategies. While Christian’s native language is German, he is business-fluent in English.
Terry applies his extensive and diverse expertise in strategy development, financial analysis and sourcing to the IT disciplines of applications development and maintenance, infrastructure, technical architecture, enterprise resource planning and governance. His broad experience extends across industries, from manufacturing, life sciences and utilities to consumer packaged goods, retail and transportation. Since serving in multiple global IT leadership positions at Halliburton Company, Terry has been advising ISG clients on sourcing strategies, competitive sourcing transactions for IT services, transitions/transformation programs and contract renegotiations for more than 15 years. Terry has completed executive leadership courses at the graduate business schools of Harvard and the University of Texas.
