Why do you need to assess your digital engineering maturity?

To enhance your digital engineering and manufacturing technology capabilities, it is crucial to identify the most high-priority areas to achieve the maximum impact of your investments.

Built on the extensive expertise of ISG’s Digital Engineering practice across industries, our diagnostic assessment framework:

  1. Offers clear definitions of maturity end states,

  2. Evaluates your current-state maturity level of your digital engineering transformation and manufacturing capabilities,

  3. Identifies obstacles hindering that transformation, and

  4. Pinpoints the initiatives that require prioritization and scaling.

Grounded in ISG’s holistic digital engineering and manufacturing framework, our assessment is centered around four core areas of focus and nine building blocks which we use to determine the current transformation maturity across the manufacturing value chain. Our assessment encompasses design, manufacturing, supply chain and aftermarket services.

What should you expect when you complete the assessment?

Upon completion of the assessment (approximately 10-15 minutes), you will receive an assessment report that contains three key parts: current capability maturity summary, top 3 building blocks to prioritize for capability uplift and recommendations for how to kickstart the uplift of building blocks identified in a structured manner. The recommendations define the desired maturity and end state as well as the steps needed to move from current state to meet your business objectives.
