  • The client embarked on an end-to-end transformation of their HR Operating model. This includes bringing in new HCM technology, service delivery transformation and outsourcing of HR functions.
  • The client was new to outsourcing and was looking to incorporate this concept into their new service delivery model.
  • The client understood their global HR model was inefficient. Due to multiple acquisitions throughout the years, business units operated independently, and there were significant inefficiencies within HR. Policies were misaligned and global centers of excellence did not exist.
  • ISG was brought in to advise on the selection of an HRO provider. Once selected, ISG would lead the contracting phase of the project.

  • ISG crafted a detailed scope of services aligned with market standards and the organization’s vision. 
  • ISG created a comprehensive request for proposal (RFP) that incorporated the right scope, pricing and performance framework for success.
  • ISG facilitated the selection of a preferred HRO provider. Once the provider was selected, ISG represented the client in contract negotiations to ensure a market competitive contract.
  • After contracting was complete, the client asked ISG to advise on the transition phase. ISG took over the lead for the transition on an interim basis while the client secured permanent resources to lead the shared services operations.

  • ISG provided expertise in HRO sourcing to develop an RFP package and facilitate a selection process that was effectively completed within the timeframe of the project. ISG’s market experience ensured the right set of providers were included, the right questions asked, and that the process focused on the areas that matter most.
  • The contracting phase was completed on time thanks to the ISG market contract templates and approach which were accepted by the provider as market standard.
  • ISG successfully negotiated interim solutions to be implemented to minimize costs.
  • ISG also brought their expertise in project management and governance to assist the client in effectively managing the provider until a permanent team was selected prior to the go-live date.
