A major oil and gas corporation was introducing new software designed to help managers better visualize data and make faster decisions. The project underwent several roadblocks before OCM started. Personnel helped to pioneer a new approach in which OCM resources worked directly for the software company, rather than the client, to design and deliver training to affected end users.

OCM team members focused on the three crucial client work streams most impacted by the project to create a training strategy, a training plan, and development of content for user acceptance testing and end-user training services. This included live-action videos, quick reference guides, and other on-demand learning and e-Learning materials. The OCM training built on examples from user stories and real-world situations to provide scenario-based training.
